Oklahoma ~

In case any of you didn't know - I love music. I mean really, I love it. And whether it's watching American Idol or what, I'm feeling really lonesome for some good live music. One guy on AI sang "You'll Think of Me" tonight. And while I was glad to have Keith's song spotlighted...dude, it was not good. You want to know how many people there are in the world who can really do that song justice? One. Exactly one. But this isn't a tribute to Keith.

Tonight I'm on an Oklahoma kick...musically, that is. Some of the best musicians come from there!! So I gathered a few favorites and put them on the playlist. I've seen some of these artists before, but the only one I got up close and personal with (camera in hand) is this one:

Two years ago this month we went to see Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban in concert in Bossier City. They were fantastic, they were on fire, they were...amazing. Vicki & Gregg were with us too. After the concert we drove over to the one of the casinos to have a midnight supper. We really had a ball! It's one of my favorite concert memories ever.

I was tickled I was able to get such good shots. It helped that I was on the 4th row. When artists sing from the heart and just flat out nail it, it's magic. If you ever get a chance to see Keith or Carrie in concert, just GO. You'll be happy you did. ;)
